How to Keep Nipple Covers On in Hot, Humid Weather
Quick answer: put adhesive products on clean, completely dry skin with no lotion, body oil or sunscreen. Then press the edges down firmly. Oil, lotion or moisture under the adhesive weakens the grip.
Before you put them on
- Wash the area and dry it completely.
- Keep body oil, lotion, cream and sunscreen off the area.
- Put them on in a cool room, before you start to sweat.
Putting them on
- Nipple covers: peel off the film, centre the cover over the nipple, then press along the edges until they lie flat.
- Push-up pads: put your outfit on first. Stick each pad to the inside of the outfit, lift your breast up and toward the centre, then press the pad onto your skin.
During the day
NIUD Covers are waterproof and sweatproof, and we test them in tropical heat. Do not wear any adhesive product for more than 12 hours at a time, and never sleep in it.
Keep the adhesive working
- Rinse covers after every use with water and a gentle cleanser.
- Air dry. Keep them away from heat, hot water and direct sunlight.
- Store them with the protective film on.
